Meeting of the Committee on Health Promotion Network in the Southern Region by Prince of Songkla University

On April 18, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Deputy Executive Director of AUN-HPN and Acting Deputy Director for Administration at the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, attended a meeting of the Committee on Health Promotion Network in the Southern Region. The meeting aimed to support the operational plan focusing on health promotion of Thai universities and was held at Meeting 210 (2nd Floor), Office of the President, Prince of Songkla University (Hat Yai Campus), Thailand.

Organized by the Center of Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) Management at Prince of Songkhla University, the event aimed to facilitate exchange and establish agreements for collaborative work among member universities in the southern region. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Udomphon Puetpaiboon, Vice President of Prince of Songkla University, presided over the opening ceremony, while Asst. Prof. Dr. Chitchamai Ovatlarnporn, Acting Director of the Center of Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) Management at Prince of Songkhla University, delivered a report on the event's objectives.

During the event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chitchamai Ovatlarnporn delivered a lecture on "Guidelines for Driving Health University Operations in the Southern Region" and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj was invited to give a lecture on "Collaboration of Thai University Network in Driving Health Promotion Works through the ASEAN University Network - Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) and Introduction to the Healthy University Rating System (HURS)," along with participating in the MOU signing ceremony.

Prince of Songkla University is a member of the ASEAN University Network - Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) and is one of the leading Thai university networks in the regional level for its robust health promotion efforts, with the aim of becoming a "Healthy University."
